Something that represents the human condition?

Like the post before this one I used the idea of sports photography displaying the human struggle. When asked this question I again have to come back to sports. Sports aren’t usually shown as an art metaphor, but I believe that there is more to it than meets the eye. It shows us all different kinds of emotion through a simple game. As humans he all have our moments and different emotions that go with those moments. When a sports game is going bad for a particular team you can see it through the player’s reactions. When their tired they may move slower or make more mistakes. This is a common emotion for us human beings. There are always teams that seem like they are on top, UGA football is a great example of this. Just two years ago they were playing in the Sugar Bowl for a championship and then the following year were ranked number one right off the bat. (Now this is coming from a born and raised Tech fan so my opinion is going to be skewed but the metaphor still applies to the point.) They were on top of their game, then this past year came around and they fell like a rock. As people we constantly want to be on top, but eventually everything comes to an end and knocks us down. That is when we have to get back up and start all over.
