I would have to say that my favorite artist is Van Gogh. I really like his paintings The Starry Night and Café Terrace at Night. Not only do I just like the way they are painted but I also like how he uses the color blue in both of these paintings. He mostly worked in Post-Impressionism. Many of his paintings use vivid colors and have an emotional impact.
He is my favourite painter too. This painting is a clear example of how Van Gogh could put all his emotivity in his works, and the observer feels the same strong pathos of the author.
